Refuge is a Person…the God who reveals Himself as “Father”

He is the father and friend we have all been looking for and
He invites us to come to Him through Jesus Christ and to bring
all our joys and pains, praises and questions, faith and doubts.

Refuge is People… followers of Jesus Christ are called to be a people of refuge in a dangerous world.

Refuge is a place… any place becomes a refuge if God’s people are found doing God’s buiness there.

Refuge has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the
Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ
and be conformed into his image by the power of the Holy
Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed
to denominations as such, only their overemphasis of the
doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the
body of Christ.

We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is
His “Agape” love, which is greater than any differences we
posses and without which we have no right claim ourselves Christians.

We believe worship of God should be Spiritual
We remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the
Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

We believe worship of God should be Inspirational.
We give great place to music in our worship.

We believe worship of God should be intelligent.
Our services are designed with great emphasis upon the
Word of God that He might Instruct us in how He would be
worshipped.

We believe worship of God is frutiful.
We look for his love in our lives as the supreme manifestation
that we have truly been worshipping Him.
