About us

Ramsey started ministry in Khartoum, Sudan in 1991 evangelizing among the Muslims and South Sudanese living there. In 1997 he started bringing the Gospel and humanitarian relief to war-torn South Sudan. At the end of 2016, Ramsey and Vicky began ministering to refugee orphans, widows and elderly living in Kaloboyei Settlement Camp and Kakuma Refugee Camp located in Northern Kenya. The vulnerable have come mostly from South Sudan, however, there are asylum seekers from other countries, including Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi, Congo, Rwanda and as far away as West Africa and Syria in the Middle East. Thousands of displaced people have fled the conflict in their home countries and have crossed the border into Kenya.

So many children have arrived in the refugee camps with no one. Their parents have been killed or they have been separated from them while fleeing for their lives. We help provide much needed food, clothes, blankets and other essential necessities while sharing the Gospel of Jesus. In 2021, Refuge Anglican Church was established in Kaloboyei Settlement Camp to help meet the spiritual needs of refugees living there.
