Adult & Family Ministries connects people in every season of life through discipleship, fellowship, and Christ-centered community, helping them grow in faith and relationships.
Women’s Ministry
Ministry Leader: Bethany WilsonOur Heart2Heart Women's Ministry helps women grow in faith by equipping, edifying, and exhorting them through God’s Word so they can walk closer with Jesus and step into the ministries God calls them to, locally or abroad. We build friendships through Bible studies, biannual luncheons, and an annual retreat.
Men’s Ministry
Ministry Leader: Nikolas HernandezThe Refuge Men’s Ministry desires to encourage community and spiritual growth among the men of Refuge. We meet every Thursday night at 7:00 in the café for worship, teaching, and small groups. We also meet for prayer every Saturday morning at 7:00 in Huntington Beach (near the pier) by Lifeguard Tower 2. All men are welcome.
Refuge Family Ministry-Kids
Ministry Leader: Nikki MadiganWe partner with families to minister to children (Infants - 6th grade) in a loving, safe, and fun environment, helping them develop a lifelong love for and commitment to following Jesus. We engage kids with God's Word through a variety of teaching methods that support different learning styles, and we offer many opportunities for volunteers to serve and make a lasting impact.
Refuge Moms
Ministry Leader: Bethany WilsonOur desire is for moms to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and deeper in their relationships with others. We want to walk alongside you and encourage you in a sometimes overwhelming part of life called Motherhood.
Response - Young Adults
Ministry Leader: Brad HornbackResponse is our weekly young adults fellowship for men and women ages 18 to 28. Our gatherings focus on understanding our place in the Kingdom of God through Bible study, worship, prayer, and being there for each other with the love of Jesus.
Refuge Family Ministry - Youth
Youth Ministry (7th-8th & 9th-12th grade) is a fun, family-centered environment where students can connect, grow in their faith, serve others, and learn to follow Jesus alongside caring leaders and friends.
Refuge Married Life
Refuge Married Life is a ministry for married and engaged couples to grow in Christ, strengthen their relationships, and connect with other couples through marriage classes and an annual couples retreat.
Rooted
Ministry Leader: Micahel RogersThe Convalescent Ministry does a Senior Living Chapel Service that brings worship, praise, and the teaching of God’s Word to residents of senior community living facilities, offering companionship and prayer support.
Bags of Hope
Ministry Leader: Anne & LaShawn RiversBags of Hope is a ministry that prepares care bags containing hygiene items for our homeless friends. We meet to assemble the bags and host a table in the foyer at Refuge.
Lunch & Prayer
Ministry Leader: Robin & Scott We meet the basic needs of our local homeless community and share the love of Jesus. Each Thursday, 11:00–12:30 in the Refuge foyer/café, we offer Bible study, prayer, fellowship, a hot meal, donated groceries, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, blankets, phones, and resource information.
Widows Hope
Ministry Leader: Patty PoynterA Christ-centered space where ladies who’ve lost their husbands can navigate life alongside other ladies with their shared situations. Participants receive spiritual support, practical resources, and compassionate fellowship to help them heal and move forward.
