Our Connection Ministries create opportunities to build relationships, find community, and grow together in faith and fellowship.
Women’s Ministry
Ministry Leader: Bethany WilsonOur Heart2Heart Women's Ministry helps women grow in faith by equipping, edifying, and exhorting them through God’s Word so they can walk closer with Jesus and step into the ministries God calls them to, locally or abroad. We build friendships through Bible studies, biannual luncheons, and an annual retreat.
Men’s Ministry
Ministry Leader: Nikolas HernandezThe Refuge Men’s Ministry desires to encourage community and spiritual growth among the men of Refuge. We meet every Thursday night at 7:00 in the café for worship, teaching, and small groups. We also meet for prayer every Saturday morning at 7:00 in Huntington Beach (near the pier) by Lifeguard Tower 2. All men are welcome.
Refuge Moms
Ministry Leader: Bethany WilsonOur desire is for moms to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and deeper in their relationships with others. We want to walk alongside you and encourage you in a sometimes overwhelming part of life called Motherhood.
Divine Intervention
Ministry Leader: Chuck CotrellThe Veterans Ministry provides biblical comfort, guidance, and prayer to military members, veterans, their families, and supporters. We offer Bible study, fellowship, and outreach to homeless veterans, those in VA hospitals, and others in care facilities, while building meaningful relationships and sharing the hope of Christ.
Refuge Recovery
Ministry Leaders: Chuck CotrellA welcoming place for real hope and deep healing. We share our experience, strength, and the life-changing gospel of Jesus to support all in recovery—formerly incarcerated and gang-involved individuals, those overcoming addiction, survivors of trafficking, veterans, youth, and people experiencing homelessness.
Refuge Married Life
Ministry Leader: Geoff & Bethany WilsonRefuge Married Life is a ministry for married and engaged couples to grow in Christ, strengthen their relationships, and connect with other couples through marriage classes, fellowship, and an annual couples retreat, while building stronger, Christ-centered marriages together.
Rooted
Ministry Leader: Michael RogersIn Rooted, we gather in a small group for 10 weeks and get to know each other and what following Jesus is like based on God’s Word and our own experience.
Adoption & Foster Care
Ministry Leader: Edwin & Robin Ann FabrosThe Refuge Foster Care & Adoption Ministry raises awareness, educates, and equips Refuge families to support children and parents through partnerships with local ministries and organizations.
Rooted
