Our Outreach Ministries seek to share the love of Jesus by serving our community, building relationships, and reaching others with the hope of the Gospel.
Radio
Ministry Leader: TIm Boyd The Refuge Radio Response Team loves praying with callers and even contacts callers outside the call-in hours to pray with them. They are true servants who love people in the name of Jesus!
Book People
Ministry Leader: Jamie HunterWe serve children by providing encouragement and books to build home libraries. While serving in a public school, we show Jesus’ love through our actions and pray for each student.
Special Events
Ministry Leader: Trisch WithemWe minister to the incarcerated in Orange County by going into the county jail system. We offer worship, testimony, the Word of God, and the message of salvation with encouragement. We share Jesus with them.
Evangelism
Ministry Leader: Eric StoeltingWant to see what the book of Acts is like? Come and join us at the pier on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6- 9 p.m. and see the Holy Spirit at work. Walk, watch, and learn how to reach the lost and broken with the Gospel, and see the dead come to life in front of your eyes!
Food Pantry
Ministry Leader: Dave LindsayOur ministry’s goal is to feed the needy both physically and spiritually. We receive donations from local grocery stores and food banks and distribute them to those in need with no questions, documentation, or requirements for church attendance. We strive to foster an environment of respect, fellowship, and hospitality.
Missions
Ministry Leader: Stephanie GomezWe seek to send our missionaries out in a worthy manner and receive them back with the same care and support. We are committed to praying for our missionaries, advocating for them, representing them well to our church, and representing our church well to them.
Lunch & Prayer
Ministry Leader: Robin & Scott We meet the basic needs of our local homeless community and share the love of Jesus. Each Thursday, 11:00–12:30 in the Refuge foyer/café, we offer Bible study, prayer, fellowship, a hot meal, donated groceries, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, blankets, phones, and resource information.
